Professor Miguel Castanho appeared on the program “Efeito Placebo” on the Saúde Mais channel with Vasco Domingos, discussing the most relevant current topics. October’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month was highlighted: despite advances in research, “in some subtypes there is still much to be done.” The program has three segments, namely: “Shock Treatment,” in which Professor Miguel emphasized the current state of innovation and research in Portugal; “Observation Unit,” where he discussed the opening of the medical school at UTAD; and, in the third segment, “High Note,” he mentioned the Pepe Grant/La Caixa Awards.
